Bucket Income Model

Many people who are looking to create an income from home join MLM, affiliate programs, share and option trading programs, or dabble in real estate. Why do they do this? It seemed like a good idea at the time. Or more correctly they bought a story. They bought the story and the vision of the people who were promoting the biz opp. Nothing wrong with that, but in virtually all instances these programs will produce small income in the early years.

I call these programs DRIP INCOME programs. That is they produce small drips of income in the early stages. The good news is that potentially this drip income can build into a small stream, which eventually could become a serious pipeline.

Most people who join these programs give scant attention to the most crucial aspect of any business - cash flow. The facts are that the short to medium term cash flow potential of these programs is poor. This is OK if you’re in a steady job and are happy to let your new business build over many years. It’s the old Amway deal; work 5 nights a week for 5 years, and bingo! you’ll be in clover.
